Terms of Use - guialo

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the guialo system (hereinafter "Platform"), you expressly agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Nature of the Service

Guialo is a technology platform (SaaS) that provides tools for short-term rental property owners and managers ("Hosts") to create digital informational guides for their guests ("Guests"). We have no affiliation with booking platforms (such as Airbnb or Booking) and do not participate in rental transactions.

3. Exclusive Content Responsibility (UGC)

The Platform functions solely as a display channel. All content inserted in the guides — including text, photos, videos, links, rules, instructions, and passwords — is the exclusive responsibility of the Host.

Guialo does not review, approve, or proactively monitor the inserted content. The Host guarantees that they hold the copyright and necessary licenses for all images and media uploaded to the platform.

4. Physical Security, Passwords, and Access (Special Attention)

The Host understands that the guide links generated by the Platform, while not publicly indexed by search engines (such as Google), can be freely shared or forwarded by anyone who has the link.

It is expressly advised against including critical physical security information in text, photo, or video format, such as:

Permanent electronic lock passwords;
Safe codes, locker codes, or padlock combinations (keyboxes);
Exact location of hidden keys.

Guialo fully and completely disclaims any liability for theft, damage, property invasion, or security breaches resulting from the leakage, improper sharing, or mismanagement of information inserted in the guide by the Host.

5. Service Availability

We work to keep the Platform available 24 hours a day. However, the service may experience temporary instability or maintenance. We are not responsible for financial losses, negative guest reviews, or any indirect damage caused by the temporary unavailability of the guides.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Access to Premium features requires payment of the current subscription for the contracted period. We do not perform automatic renewal. At the end of the billing cycle, the Host must manually renew to maintain access to exclusive tools.

If the subscription is not renewed, the account will revert to the free plan limitations, which may result in the deactivation of guides that exceed that plan's limit. We do not offer prorated refunds for cancellations requested during the term of an already-paid plan.

7. Cancellation and Suspension

Guialo reserves the right to suspend or delete, without prior notice, accounts of Hosts who use the platform to share illegal, offensive, abusive content, or content that violates these Terms of Use.
